GLR Tessa

We are excited to announce, GLR Tessa, one of our first show string, is rejoining our herd for her retirement! Why DID WE Want Tessa Back in Midnight Moon Herd? Tessa provided The Midnight Moon with many of our firsts as a farm (1) GLR Tessa is the daughter of Great Lakes Ranch multiple champion winning, and Judges Choice mother GLR Tica. Tessa's sire is a 5 time Color Champion Young Felipe. Tessa followed their lead, in her only two shows, MAPACA and AOBA Nationals 2013, Tessa took first places and Color Championship in very competitive classes! TWO FOR TWO!; (2) In the Summer 2016, Tessa gave birth to a 20lb, 2oz, male--Granite's Silver Bullet (SB). Silver Bullet's dad is none other than the 12X Champion Halo Ranch's BKNRD Silver Granite. We were so excited to think 14 Championships plus more than 20 Blue Ribbons between the his parents the possibilities for SB! Bullet continued the trend set by his dad and mom. Granite's Silver Bullet He collected nine (9) BLUES over the course of his career in the show ring and fleece competition. Unfortunately, there were often not been enough greys for championships. After Bullet was shorn, his fleece continued on to collect blues. Silver Bullet brought home a Blue and A Reserve Championship from AOA National Fleece Show in July 2017. Those awards coupled with other Championships from other show string member, The Midnight Moon was named Classic Cup Winner Fleece for 2017-One of the Greatest recognition of our breeding program!
